HAMNER DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (HDC), a full service commercial real estate development and brokerage firm was founded in Newport News, Virginia in 1985, and is one of the market leaders in the development, leasing, sales and management of commercial and industrial properties in the Virginia Peninsula Region. To date, the Hamner organization has developed eleven major commercial projects, representing in excess of 750,000 square feet of commercial space. These projects include Class "A" office buildings, "flex" buildings, medical projects, office/warehouse and industrial buildings most heavily concentrated in the Oyster Point area of Newport News. The firm has completed development of Rock Landing Professional Park, a 31,520 square foot professional Park and The Landing, a 32,000 square foot professional park both located in Oyster Point of Newport News.
